Question: Does anyone know of any legitimate “work at home” jobs?
I’ve seen alot of call center type jobs, but wondering if anyone knew of any others possibly?

Thanks! :)

Answer by Don D
There are a few out there, but bear in mind, most of these will not pay very well at all, less than minimum wage in some cases for the time that you spend on them. Also, beware some of the answers that you might see to your question, especially if they claim that they make $ 1000 or more per week doing what they are doing and provide with a hyperlink. They are scams.

About the only thing I can think of is find something that people want, buy it wholesale for cheap and sell sell sell.

Question: Does anyone know if ham/mobile/CB radio operators have the capabilities to eavesdrop on home phones?
Does anyone know if ham/mobile/CB radio operators have the capabilities to eavesdrop on wireless and/or landline telephone conversations? If so, would it be possible to zero in on a specific, wireless home phone, by address or position instead of by number. We have a civil lawsuit pending…Based on some odd information that was exposed during previous negotiations; I suspect some “funny business” is going on. It just so happens, that the defendant in this case, is a “radio head” with a top-of-the-line base and 4 mobile units. If this, in fact happening…not just paranoia, what (if anything) can be done to counter or stop such an activity?

Question: Is anyone familiar with “Auction work at home” and/or Cathy Banks? Is it a legitmat home business?
Does anyone recommend a home based business? If so, what is it?

Answer:

Answer by RoseRed
I haven’t heard of Auction Work At Home or Cathy Banks, sorry! Does it have to do with eBay auctions, though? If so, I’ve seen a lot of sites that charge for stuff like that are scams. If you have a link to what you’re talking about, I’d have no problem checking it out for you.

I can recommend a home business, though. I started one in November that I love! You’re given your own business for free, too! I have a link in my profile if you would like to check it out.

Question: Can anyone review my financial info and let me know if you believe I can qualify to purchase a home?
Hello – I would like to give you some of my financial information to see if you believe I would qualify for a loan before having to run my credit and have points deducted.

I turn 20 years old in the fall. I own a landscaping business. I have been living with my parents to be cheap and save money for as long as I can hoping to buy a house and to build a good financial cushion :) I make a base salary of $ 2,653.00 each month, $ 31,836 a year. The business pays pretty much all of my expenses, cell phone, vehicle, fuel, insurance, 50% of health insurance, office telephone and internet – pretty much everything but food, hygiene, clothes, and entertainment. I feel very comfortable with roughly a $ 900-$ 1,100 a month payment, by IRS regulations I am able to reimburse myself 15% of all expenses for a “home based business” (my office) for (mortgage payment, water, electricity, TV, etc) so I plan about $ 130-$ 150 from that.

Experian reported my credit as of 7/31/09 of 742

1 account now closed, no late payments etc
1 account open – $ 500 limit no balance (paid off each month)
1 account open – Business Equipment Purchase roughly $ 15,000 remaining of $ 24,000 – no late payments etc.

Where my problem is,

In 2007 I reported $ 19,000 in gross income from a previous employer – 3 years of reports
2008 $ 10,000 (first legal year in business, about 60% of my wages were under the table which hurts for my situation now)
2009 –

I am also employed by Sheetz for the winter, basically just a hobby to have something to do. I roughly pull in about $ 2,500 over the 3 winter months working part time there.

Another problem is I do not have a co-signer.

I would like to look into purchasing within the next (3) months if it is possible, I just would prefer buying then renting.

If you believe I might be eligible let me know and we can go ahead and do the actual prequalification – I just don’t want to run my credit if I have a few possible reasons that can revoke my qualification.

Answer by Janet P
You will qualify for a loan, and you won’t need a co-signer with that credit.

However, you will only qualify to borrow around 25k. that is a problem, other then finding property priced that low, not many banks are even willing to lend such a small amount.

Your salary is whatever you told the IRS it is. If your adjusted income is only 10k that is all that they will look out. Telling them you are committing tax fraud is not going to help you.

Here is what you looking for, this is real legit and free try it ….

This site pays out daily so you can see right away that it works, and there’s tons of proof on the site.

http://tinyurl.com/gptforcash

I use this site to make a little extra money online. There are endless ways to make money on this site including signing up for free offers, completing surveys and clicks, playing games against other members, competing in weekly lotteries, and much more.

Signup is free, and unlike other sites that make you work to a minimum amount before they’ll pay you, this site will pay you daily. You can get paid through Paypal, check, or you can use your earnings to order off of Amazon (anything you want) because this site is linked up to Amazon.com.

If you’re skeptical, number one, if this wasn’t legit Amazon wouldn’t partner with them. But if you’re still unsure you can create an account and right there on the site is a chat room filled with real users, and even administration of the site so they can tell you just how this does work! You can also click anyone’s user name in the chat to see their up to date earnings, check someone with gold status or above.

Question: Has anyone tried the Forex Made Easy software that is advertised on television?
If so, is it as good as they advertise it to be or is it just another one of those make money from home scams that only makes its creators rich? As with all other home based business “opportunities” it seems far too good to be true.

Question: Can anyone verify these “work-at-home” jobs?
I’m looking for a part-time job so I can bring in extra money for my family. However, I keep seeing these “work-at-home” or “be you own boss” ads. I look into them and it has all these jobs like mystery shops, data entry, sending mail, etc. BUT then I see the “$ 149.98 start up fee”. That makes me question it. I do know the mystery shop is legitimate (I’ve worked retail) but what about the others? Do these jobs really work? Can I actaully make some extra money by working from home?

I think they are scams, but if they are legit, they’d be better than these ‘worst jobs in america’:

I have not. You can try looking them up in the BBB:

But I saw the site and it looks really vague. They don’t even talk about their company. I wouldn’t trust it at all.
