Question: Legitimate “work at home” online opportunities?
I know that there are a lot of good sites out there that could help me.. and I know that there are a lot of scams.. I don’t know how to tell the difference between the two.
Anyone have experience with any good sites, that you would recommend?

99.99% are scams make sure you read terms and conditions and if they ask for money it is a scam
the best way is find a company where you live that will let you work at home

Question: Are work-at-home “survey taking” jobs legitimate?
I’m looking for a simple part-time/weekend job that I can do at home, just to earn a little cash to dump into my savings account. I’m not expecting to make millions off this endeavor, of course. Are these websites that offer you a job taking surveys legitimate? Sounds too good to be true, but wondering if they’re just scams.
Or, what about a job stuffing envelopes (direct mail)? Or, taking inventory at a grocery store (using those small hand-held machines)?
Just curious to hear your **constructive** input on this … thanks!

Yes there are legitimate survey sites. I use SurveySavvy and they have always paid out.
Stuffing envelopes however, are not real positions. There are quite a few things you can do at home to earn a little side money, most center around your abilities with a computer and internet connection.

There are a few out there, but bear in mind, most of these will not pay very well at all, less than minimum wage in some cases for the time that you spend on them. Also, beware some of the answers that you might see to your question, especially if they claim that they make $ 1000 or more per week doing what they are doing and provide with a hyperlink. They are scams.
About the only thing I can think of is find something that people want, buy it wholesale for cheap and sell sell sell.
